POSITION: Civil Engineer

JOB LOCATION: Walpole, MA

DESCRIPTION: Analyze blueprints, and other related documents and computing costs by analyzing labor, material and time requirements. Break down complex bid specifications and requests for proposals of work. Resolve discrepancies by analyzing the collected information and presenting detailed estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Liaise with clients and subcontractors to comprehend the output requirements and monitor project costs and progress. Maintain a database of all technical documentation which includes requests and follow­ ups on documents and information necessary to keep projects on schedule. Prepare baseline schedules and three-week look ahead for weekly progress meetings. Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations and geodetic measurements. Implement design checks for sliding, overturning and bearing capacity of structures and ensuring design stability. Generate construction drawing packages, sketches and as-builts using AutoCAD. Work in collaboration with other sectors to perform quality control on data, and submitting a detailed report on site planning, execution and quality control of projects.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Civil Engineering or Construction Management. 

HOURS: 9 AM to 5 PM, 40 hours/week
